Background: Pacific Star has 4 distribution centers in Mexico (Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Tijuana). They needed an app for tracking and managing photographic evidence of deliveries, including a QR code at each delivery point, and capturing the Delivery Time as evidence for their clients.
Solution: Development of an app that provided real-time location of the delivery vehicle, enabled delivery confirmation through a QR code scan, and allowed capturing photographs and signed documents directly in the field, sending them to our platform. The system included route assignment and delivery points for each unit.
Results: Evidence was generated for 95% of the trips, documenting delivery times and the duration of each activity at the designated points or branches. It significantly improved delivery times, evidence management in case of customer disputes, and shortened the collection period.
